Zachary DeBoer

Community, collaboration, history and transformation are common themes during Zach DeBoer’s AISC residencies. A multidisciplinary artist, Zach’s current work is in the field of ‘creative placemaking’ - a practice that intentionally leverages the power of the arts, culture, and creativity to serve a community's interest while simultaneously encouraging change, growth, and transformation in a way that builds character and quality of place.

Each residency is unique and can be designed to fit your communities needs or limitations. The project could take the form of a public mural, a collaborative artwork, a city flag, a painted crosswalk, a pop-up installation, a block party, or something else entirely. If your organization is interested in celebrating the history, culture, and strength of your community through art, design, and collaboration, contact Zach today!
