Touring Artists

Performances by touring artists listed in the Roster are subsidized for South Dakota nonprofit organizations by grants to the artists by the South Dakota Arts Council.

Next Touring Arts Deadline: The deadline to submit applications to be on the FY 13 & 14 Touring Arts Roster is September 1, 2011.  Applications for the Touring Arts Program must be made on line through the South Dakota Arts Council’s e-grant system on or before September 1 Hard-copy applications submitted through the mail or faxed will not be accepted.

Forms you will need to accept a Touring Arts Grant: 

• W-9 form for the State of South Dakota
• Touring Arts Grant Agreement (this is the touring artist's contract with the SDAC)
• Grant Terms and Conditions for Touring Artists

These forms must be filled out and submitted to the Arts Council if you accept a Touring Arts Grant. ( Hard copies will be mailed to you along with your grant letter when you are accepted as a member of the Touring Arts Roster.) Sign and return to the SDAC at the address below.

Touring Arts Presenter Contracts are available in Adobe Acrobat® PDF format, however, these contracts must be completed in triplicate. One copy is kept by the artist, one copy is kept by the sponsor/presenter, one copy is returned to the SDAC by the Touring Artist. All copies must be signed by the artist and the sponsor. The preferred hard copies are available from the SDAC office.
